Portland, Maine and Boston in Photos

It's been a while.

Hello Friends,

In the past few months I have been doing a lot with this little life of mine.... living it mostly and it has been nice to not be documenting every step of it. I debated a few times on not blogging any longer. I think there has to be a happy medium on sharing and living. Today, our world is bombarded with twitter, facebook, pinterest, even spotify shares the type of music you are listening too!

There is this part of me that has a deep desire to have my world become much smaller than it is. Not to mention the fact that life is just busy with school and work and family etc. I started this blog to inspire new nurses in the ICU. To help people navigate the waters of the hospital and to share the moments of my world that made my job so special. As of late, my job has not been special. It has been hard with many challenges that are not pretty or glamorous or worth sharing I guess. Maybe they are but I just don't want to share them? At any rate, it has been a while since I have been here. Mostly because I just wasn't sure if I wanted to come back.

I think I would miss this space of mine if I let it go though. I do love having a little corner of the world to share my running endeavors, photography and life moments... and I love the community of bloggers I have come to know. In fact I think there have been times where God has used this blog to connect me with people I was supposed to invest into. For that I am so thankful.

For now, I think I will share what I want, when I want, and I think there has to be a decision to write because I love to, not because I want to be a blogger.

So, who knows when I will be back but I will at some point. I have some fun pictures to share from mine and Chris' honeymoon in new england and I did my first race (a half marathon) since last fall, yesterday!

In the meantime, hope all is well and I hope we all can remember to "disconnect" every now and then. Life is too short to live it through social media.

Happy Monday friends.
